Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the True Tone personal colour analysis service available at truetoneanalysis.com (“the Service”), operated by True Tone, Queensland, Australia.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the service provides

True Tone uses artificial intelligence to analyse a photo you upload and generate a personal colour profile — including your seasonal colour type, recommended palette, metals, makeup shades, hair colours, and outfit guidance.

Results are intended for personal styling guidance only. They are not professional colour consultant advice, and individual results may vary based on photo quality, lighting, and other factors.

3. Subscriptions and pricing

True Tone Pro is available on two subscription plans:

• Weekly — $9.95 AUD per week. Includes your full colour profile, all palette and styling sections, AI Personal Stylist (unlimited questions), and Item Checker (unlimited clothing checks).
• Yearly — $249.95 AUD per year. Includes everything in Weekly, plus all future features as they launch.

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of any applicable GST. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

4. Billing and renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (weekly or annually) until cancelled. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal.

You will receive a receipt from Stripe for each successful payment. If a payment fails, your access to Pro features may be suspended until payment is resolved.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, manage your subscription through your account or contact us at info@truetoneanalysis.com.

Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. Your subscription will not renew after that date.

6. Refund policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at info@truetoneanalysis.com within 7 days of the charge and we will review your case.

This refund policy does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of any photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process it for the purpose of generating your colour analysis. Photos are not stored permanently and are not used to train AI models.

You must only upload photos in which you are the subject or have the right to use. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service
• Misuse the AI features (e.g., submitting excessive automated requests)
• Upload content that is offensive, illegal, or violates the rights of others
• Share your account with others or allow multiple people to use a single subscription

9. AI disclaimer

The colour analysis produced by True Tone is generated by artificial intelligence and is provided for informational and styling guidance purposes only. Results are based on the photo provided and the AI's interpretation — they are not a substitute for in-person colour consultation with a qualified professional.

We make no warranty that the results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances. Your use of the results is at your own discretion.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, True Tone's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 30 days preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to the service or terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
